We have used Team Teach many years now, training new staff and refreshing existing staff. The course content is relevant to our setting and gives staff the ability to re-focus and self-reflect on behaviour, particularly looking at how our actions and reactions can positively or negatively impact behaviour. It has given us some clear objectives to work on, namely paperwork and our own individual practices as educators.

We love the premise that physical intervention is such a small percentage of the course and that the main objective is to focus on strategies that we can use daily to have proactive rather than reactive behaviour management.

The quality and relevance of information in the course is incredible. Despite the 6 hours of content, there is never a feeling of repetition. Everything is new, interesting and applicable. It was also quite clear the Presenters knowledge is profound and has come from real experiences as an educator in the field.

Top 3 benefits of this course would be the sharing of proactive behaviour management strategies, reflection on own practices and practical guidance in how to physically intervene if necessary.

We would definitely recommend this course as it allows you to understand what behaviour is from both the student and educator’s perspective. It also provides you with the confidence and the dialogue in dealing with behaviour, offering practical strategies and a common goal for behaviour support.
