TTAP Public Course –
Overview Behaviour Support Training: Level One Course
Overview
The Behaviour Support Training Level One – 6 Hour course is for anyone working in organisations wanting to develop a better understanding of behaviour and be more confident supporting children, young people or adults.
With our award-winning training, everyone in your organisation will have a wide range of practical, person-centred de-escalation skills and behaviour strategies, to support individuals in your care and respond to their behaviour in a way that is reasonable, proportionate, necessary and respectful.
Our training provides you with a toolkit of strategies you can rely on and promotes respect, teamwork and communication with the focus on early intervention, de-escalation and prevention.
Training is delivered by experienced trainers, and we can, further to pre-course consultation, ensure the focus of the modules is relevant to the specific settings and everyday situations encountered by those taking part.
Who is this course for?
The Behaviour Support Training Level One programme is ideal for staff groups working in low-risk settings with children, young people or adults.
It is designed for organisations or professionals who are looking to embed proactive approaches and increase staff safety, whilst embedding the ethos of understanding behaviour as communication.
