Advance Trainer
Overview
Our Positive Behaviour Support Advanced Modules are available for organisations supporting children, young people and vulnerable adults with extreme, aggressive, dangerous and/or complex challenging behaviour, who may pose a risk to themselves or others in high-risk Education and Health and Social Care settings.
Delivered by expert trainers with current experience in high-risk Education and Health and Social Care organisations.
This group course is tailored to the needs of your organisation, we will discuss the specific needs of your environment and service users, and devise a curriculum to meet them, focusing on the modules that will best meet your requirements.
Who is this course for?
Anyone who wants to lead on and support the delivery of training in positive behaviour support strategies targeting complex challenging behaviour and who holds a current Intermediate Trainer certificate.
Learning Outcomes
Those who achieve a full pass will be accredited to deliver a range of Advanced Positive Behaviour Support modules, as a lead trainer, to employees of their single employer, within permitted trainer ratios. (A minimum of two trainers are required for staff training events for any number of participants up to 16.)
If the confidence or competence levels of a participant require more time and support, an ‘assist’ pass may be awarded, allowing individuals to assist on Advanced modules and refresher courses that are delivered for their employer. An ‘assist’ pass can be upgraded to a full pass by attending a future Advanced Train-the-Trainer Reaccreditation course.

The Organisation’s Connect Fee
We understand the financial pressures organisations are under, and we’re committed to keeping Team Teach Connect accessible with transparent and fair pricing. For 2025, the annual Team Teach Connect fee will reflect the size of your setting and the number of Team Teach-certified staff.
Here’s our new banded pricing structure:
- 0–24 certified staff: £160 (+ VAT)
- 25+ certified staff: £200 (+ VAT)
This per setting fee ensures every certified individual in your setting can access Team Teach Connect’s award-winning Knowledge Hub resources and the Support Service.
How it works:
- For existing customers, the fee will be calculated at your renewal date.
- For new customers, it will be based on your first training event in 2025.
We’ve also worked hard to keep 2025 prices rising only in line with inflation, meaning no real-term increases. You’ll be able to enjoy the same high-quality content without additional financial strain.
As this is a per setting charge, every Team Teach certified individual in your setting can access Team Teach Connect. Team Teach Connect is a mandatory part of Team Teach training. Your staff require an active subscription for their Team Teach certificates to remain valid.
